I was asked to join the jury for a curatorial commission at Whitechapel Gallery in December 2021 concerning the institution’s responsibility for Angel Alley, a narrow street situated between Freedom Press bookshop and the gallery itself.

Formerly a throughway, this street is now a contained space that, whilst rather tiny and unassuming, has a radical and fascinating history.
